And A Happy New Year!

Hm, didn't mean for my title to sound so emo. Christmas is on the way, as well as the end of this year, but I can only think about finals at the moment. Animations, animatics and paintings are all due soon. I'm not completely all work though, hanging with friends is keeping me sane. Just updating the journal with some thoughts is all.

I'm a litte late, but Happy New Years. A new deviation will be posted later today.

There is only so much you can teach yourself. For this reason I've decided to study under my good friend for my drawing needs. After only one week I've improved and I've only gotten better after that. It's always nice to have someone to study under and if you get the chance don't pass it up.

So, my school is having an event where we have to stay for 24 hours. There's gonna be things to do though. You can join challenges where you have to draw certain things within a period of time, sculpt models, and watch movies(good and bad). This sounds interesting so I'm gonna go.

Well, I made it to school, I stocked up from food(from Subway) and caffeinated tea in order to stay up. I found out the challenges we have here to complete. They are,
1) Make a 24 second flash or 3d animation
2) Make 24 three point turnaround sheets (Which I might attempt)
3) Make 24 comic pages
5 Make a 5 second traditional 2d animation
6) Make a Sculpture
6) Make a textured model(Sepentor) (Whatever the heck that means)

Well wish me (and my peers) luck just in case I decide to do one.
